Primary reasons clients choose the VCD Slim Poly case over Slim Jewel or Standard Jewel Case are because they are not only lighter and much less breakable compared to the jewel products but also because the VCD Slim Poly Case offers a wrap around printed cover. With the Slim Jewel you would have to open the case to see the second side of the printed insert whereas with the VCD Slim Poly case you can see the second side from the outside while the case is closed. The wrap around cover also makes this product easier for resale by allowing for a UPC code on back side cover.

An alternative to the VCD Slim Poly Case is our 2 Panel Jacket product which comes shrink wrapped and includes full color full coverage printing on the disc making it more economical compared to the VCD Slim Poly Case. However, the 2 panel jackets take slightly longer to produce so if time is a major factor for your project, the VCD Slim Poly may be the better option.

DEFINITIONS:

DVD-5 – A standard single layer DVD that holds up to 4.7 GB of data (around 120-133 minutes of video depending on compression).

Dual Layer – A dual layer single sided DVD that holds up to 8.5 GB of data (around 240 minutes of video depending on compression). This DVD is comprised of a solid layer and a semi-transparent layer that allows for almost twice the data of a DVD-5 and is often used to retain a higher bitrate (quality) that may not be feasible on a DVD-5.

Dual Sided – A 2-sided DVD that holds up to 9.4 GB of data (around 266 minutes of video depending on compression). Please note that the two-sided DVD-10 is somewhat rare, and there is no interactivity between the sides. So to view the information on the other side, the DVD must be removed from the player and turned over. Note that a Dual Sided DVD only has a very small printable surface section on the disc.

With Duplication you may order any quantity. If you would like to order an exact quantity not shown (e.g. 125, 150, etc…) contact us and we will set up your order for you.

Duplication content is recorded on CD-R or DVD-R discs and printed with inkjet print on disc. Additional printing methods available.

DUPLICATION Can be requested on any Quantity. In general, duplication is most cost efficient for quantities 500 and under.
REPLICATION Automatically starts at 1000 Quantity unless specified otherwise. In general, replication is most cost efficient for quantities 1000 and above.
***You may request REPLICATION  at time of order for Quantities 500 to 999, otherwise Anaphora will determine which process is best for your particular project.
